About

Built by a personal-injury firm, for personal-injury firms.

We built Lexboard because we run a personal-injury firm, and the tools we were paying for didn't fit. Filevine was the most capable, also the most expensive, and required a full-time admin to keep its automations from drifting. Clio was friendlier but its phase model assumed we were a general practice. CASEpeer got the vertical right but the underlying software felt like it stopped evolving in 2019.

What we needed was unglamorous: a phase board where every case advanced through the same playbook, where templates turned into draft emails our paralegals reviewed and sent in the same breath, where the lien math and the trust ledger lived on the same screen as the case. Software that did the work, and got out of the way.

We started with our own personal-injury firm, doing motor vehicle and motorcycle work in the Southeast. Every feature in Lexboard solved a Tuesday-morning problem somebody on our team actually had. The phase gate exists because we missed a statute. The lien negotiator exists because we left $40,000 on the table on a single matter the year before. The recurring rules exist because nobody was sending the 30-day adjuster follow-up consistently.

We're publishing it now because three other PI firms used it, said the same thing, “why does this not exist already?”, and offered to pay before we'd set up Stripe.

Lexboard is software, not a law firm. It's designed for shops doing 20–500 active matters that want a real workflow without paying enterprise prices and without hiring an in-house Filevine administrator. One number, every feature, no demo required.

, The Lexboard team

  1. 01

    Pricing in public.

One number. On the website. No demo gate, no "contact for pricing," no enterprise tier that triples the bill.

  2. 02

    Specifics over slogans.

44 starter phase tasks, not "robust workflow." 52 document templates, not "document automation." If a claim doesn't have a number, we don't put it on the page.

  3. 03

The lawyer always reviews before send.

No auto-sent demand letters. No silently-fired discovery. AI drafts, attorney sends. Malpractice surface stays where it belongs.

  4. 04

    Your data, exportable.

Full firm export, cases, documents, ledger, audit log, available from the admin panel as JSON + CSV. If we ever stop being the right tool, you should be able to leave in an afternoon.

Want to talk before you trial it?

We're not a sales-led company, most firms try the trial first and email us when they have a question. But if you'd rather have a conversation about a migration from Filevine or CASEpeer, or you have unusual jurisdiction or fee-split needs, we'll get on a call.
